BON JOHNSON Rocks Both Eras of AC/DC

BON JOHNSON is...

Johnny Keyes Guitar (Angus Young)
I am a classically trained pianist, but I do not let that get in the way of my British riffing style of guitar playing. Long ago, and far away, I went to Peabody Conservatory and Berklee College of Music. I am currently a music teacher, at Woodlowe Music, teaching rock and roll to all ages, and passing the musical torch. I was lucky enough at a young age to hang out with guys that I should not have, when I was in high school They were older than me, and were hip to the new bands coming in from England, like Led Zeppelin. Indeed, I was in the opening act, of the very first Zeppelin tour. I was a puppy then, but I found the stage
as my home at a young age. I've gotten to play with many top name
acts over the years, ...too many to credit here. I was the first
Union synthesizer player in Northern California. Back then, the Union
did not want to recognize the synthesizer as an instrument. They said
it was a glorified radio. I am proud to have changed that opinion. I
have enjoyed playing both keyboards, and guitar over my rockspan. I,
again, was fortunate to have been in the middle of the Sunset Bl. mid
80's rock scene, in my band called "Pegasus". I practically lived in
the Whisky, and The Starwood, and the Troub. That was quite a time. I
weighed about as much as Twiggy, and had spandex for days in my
closet. This was a great time in music. and I lived to tell about it.
Barely. That was then, and this is now, baby. Now, I want to rock it,
and rock it as hard as I can, and I get to do this in "Bon Johnson".
OK, ...back to the bio stuff. I studied recording studio engineering
in 1973 with Leo De Gar Kulka and Norman Dayron, Michael Bloomfield's
producer at Golden State Recorders, where many hits were recorded
from Frank Sinatra to "Little Girl" by the Syndicate of Sound. I have
worked with Mallory Earl (Rolling Stones), Don Smith (Tom Petty),
Peter McIan (Men at Work), and John Ryan (Styx), to name just a few
notables. I have recorded in virtually every major recording studio
in California including The Record Plant (both North and South),
Wally Heiders, His Masters Wheels, Golden State Recorders, The
Enterprise, Different Fur Trading Co., Motown, and more. I've been
lucky. Very lucky. Now, my luck continues by playing with a group of
guys that are all pros, and buds as well. We are a gang full of rock
and roll muscle, and flaunting it is a gas, as ... "BON JOHNSON".

Jeffrey Shapiro, Drums
I have been hitting things with sticks to
make noise ever since I can remember, (I remember back as far as 3
years old). The enjoyment of playing a beat to music has always been
my passion. I have played drums throughout my entire Education (from
Kindergarten through college at the University of Wisconsin -
Milwaukee). Starting at the age of 12, I started playing in school
jazz bands, concert bands, percussion ensembles and rock and roll
bands. I found myself a niche in the world of rock and roll. I have
recorded and played live with many local, national and touring acts
from punk rock bands and swing acts to backing soft rock singers. I
played "Schlatko" the Drummer in the play "Hedwig And The Angry Inch"
at The Met Theatre, Hollywood, California. Over the past 20 years I
have been with several tribute bands including tributes to: Queen,
The Beatles, Rod Stewart, The Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, The Sex
Pistols, and most recently AC/DC. I currently record and play live
with several bands including original rock and roll acts.

Curt "Cliff Williams" Remington - Bass Guitar, Backing Vocals
I actually wanted to play bass from the beginning. Something about less
strings, more time for the ladies! My first band was great, all 60
and 70's rock. 2nd band all 1980's metal, even better. 3rd band my
english teacher, my best friend, and my parents...wtf! I almost died
of chronic embarrassment, but in 1983 in the suburbs of Washington DC
the pickens were slim. In 1987 I joined my first real band with some
great players that are still playing today. Stayed with them until I
got stupid and married...then the music died...Fast forward to moving
to Socal in 2004 and literally as quickly as we moved, my wife moved
out. Nice girl, we just weren't that nice together. In 2007 the
economy started to slide and seeing my old guitar in the closet a
light bulb went off. I have been playing as much as possible ever
since and loving every minute of it. Hopefully work won't pick up
anytime soon!

Byrne Offutt Vocals (Bon Scott, Brian Johnson)
In 2005 Byrne founded the
band "Let Go Dan" playing regular gigs at Angels Strip Club as well
as the Martini Lounge in Hollywood. 2007 found him writing and
performing acoustically in art houses and coffee shops until 2008
when he joined the hard rock band "Couzin It." Regular gigs included
Boomers in Long Beach, The Lighthouse Cafe and Brennan's Pub in
Marina Del Ray, and The Sportman's Lounge in La Mirada. In 2009 after
briefly filling in as lead singer for the Long Beach band, "The
Gunslingers," Byrne joined the 80's metal cover band, "Clique." The
band headlined such notable clubs as the House of Blues, the Cat Club
on Sunset, Paladino's, and UBG's. When Byrne was cast as Pink in a
groundbreaking performance of Pink Floyd's, The Wall at the Actor's
Gang Theatre, the band decided to take a break and pursue other
projects. Byrne is excited to be working with the only AC/DC tribute
band to be endorsed by Bobby Kimball of Toto and Jermaine Jackson of
The Jackson 5.

Byrne's Acting Bio:
From the first Spiderman movie to the subsequent parody, Superhero Movie,
Byrne Offutt has become recognizable as both a dramatic and comedic actor.
His recent television appearances include a recurring role on The Young and the Restless
and guest starring roles on Justified, Secret Life of the American Teenager, Pushing Daisies,

on the video games Medal of Honor, Airborne and Hitman, Blood Money. And in the theatre world
